Girl Guides Queensland is part of the largest volunteer organisation for girls and young women in the world. To promote the new Digital Biscuits project, Girl Guides Queensland commissioned us to capture the launch and produce a video.
Our brief was to build excitement about the project and the new partnership between Girl Guides Queensland, Fareshare and Drought Angels. We also had to capture the essence and history of Girl Guides Biscuits as the organisation celebrated its centenary. The launch was held at Fareshare HQ and saw 50 Girl Guides volunteer to make meals for people in need. Our solution included capturing the energy and excitement in the kitchen with the Girl Guides and interviewing key spokespeople about the project. We then worked closely with Girl Guides Queensland to develop the storyline and create text on screen.
The video was released post-event to encourage businesses and organisations to take part in the initiative. It was posted on the organisation’s Facebook page and has become a valuable asset for pitching to potential partners.
"This year we’re offering Digital Biscuits. What it means as a Queenslander, you purchase biscuits online and the biscuits come to FareShare and Drought Angels to be distributed with the meals."
